What is the best method to contact you?
You can contact us via email, messenger, text or telephone. However, if you want a fast response we advise customers to telephone us as we don't always have time to read messages and emails until later in the day. If we do not answer the phone it is because we are busy but we will always ring you back as soon as we get a moment to respond to missed calls.
Do I need to pre order balloons or can they be done on the day?
We keep a good stock of large number balloons and general age and occasion balloons. For simple inflation you can pop in on the day or you can pre order if you want to be sure we have the right colours or age etc. in stock for you. For more complex designs we do like at least 2 weeks notice so we can order balloons if we need to. We do stock some licensed products but it is always best to check with us if you are wanting something specific.
What are your COVID regulations?
We request customers to wear a face mask whilst in the shop but it is not enforced. We have hand sanitiser at the entrance and at the counter and a protective shield is in place at the till. We ask that people are respectful of other peoples space.

Delivery of orders received before 12pm will be dispatched on the same day (Monday to Saturday). We use Hermes for parcels and Royal Mail for postable items such as Greeting Cards. Expected delivery times are 2-3 working days. We will let you know when your order has been dispatched.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase please contact us within 14 days to arrange return and refund. Refunds will be processed upon the receipt of the item.
The following information is regarding balloon inflation, balloon decoration and the hire of our equipment via Blue Moon Events
All our quotes are free, and your price is based on what was agreed at your consultation with us. Any additional goods or services provided after the initial quote will be at an additional cost. Quotes are valid for 28 days.
Amendments to your order can be made up to 6 weeks prior to your event date. After this time, we cannot guarantee meeting your requirements due to supplier and shipping limitations.
For Light Up Numbers, Sweet Cart and Gazebo hire we offer free delivery and setup within a 5 mile radius with a minimum of £30 order. A small charge will be added to cover fuel costs if delivery is outside the 5 mile radius of S66 or does not meet our £30 minimum free delivery order.
For Sunday bookings only, we have placed a minimum order of £50. Collections and deliveries must be before 12 o’clock noon if your event is on a Sunday. There is no minimum order for Monday to Saturday bookings.
Any equipment, framework or stands used to erect the displays will be collected by ourselves after the event.
A refundable security deposit may be required for certain hire items. This will be discussed at the time of booking. There is a refundable security deposit of £50 for a full venue dress and Gazebo hire and £25 for Sweet Cart or Light Up Numbers hire. If there are any items damaged or missing, the cost will be deducted from your security deposit.
For venue booking a non-refundable 20% deposit is required upon booking to secure your date. The remaining balance must be paid at least 2 weeks prior to the event. We require full payment on orders that are £50 or under at the time of booking.
No order will be fulfilled if the full balance has not been paid. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that they have cleared their balance before the due date. Any deposit that has been left is non-refundable and used against associated costs.
For Gazebo hire and Balloon decorations it is the customers responsibility to determine the area that is available to us to decorate at their chosen venue. Please check there is no height restrictions or obstacles that will cause a problem for us. For example, overhead cables, low lighting units over tables where balloon table clusters are to sit – Ideally, we require a 5ft clearance from the tabletop to ceiling / lights.
If you require me to add banners / bunting, table confetti etc. Please check with the venue first to determine what they do and don’t allow. For example, table confetti, party poppers, blue tack, tape.
Balloons by nature can pop. For this reason, we do not recommend feather or confetti filled balloons for restaurant tables where you will be dining.
We use only the highest quality decorating balloons in all our displays. Approximate balloon float time for indoor use:
11inch latex balloons - 12 – 20 hours
16inch latex balloons - 30 – 40 hours
Foil balloons - 3 – 5 days
Room temperature and atmospheric conditions have an effect on all balloons and may cause the balloons to shrink in the cold and expand in the heat. Float time may be reduced due to low temperatures. On hot days or if balloons are exposed to direct sunlight, there is a possibility they may pop. I will always try to prevent this happening and on occasions of extreme temperatures I will underinflate latex balloons to allow for them to expand. This will result in slightly reduced float time but will help to prevent your balloons popping.
Please inform us if balloons are intended to go outside. Balloons need additional weights to hold them in place when outside. The slightest breeze can carry them away when the wrong kind of weight is used.
When booking balloons or venue dressing for outdoors please be prepared for the British weather to force a change of plan. When you book outdoor balloons or an outdoor venue dressing with us please have a back up plan in mind otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel if we feel it unsafe due to weather conditions being unsuitable.
We reserve the right to cancel during high winds when hiring Gazebos for safety reasons. Your fee for the Gazebo will be returned under these circumstances.
We accept credit/debit card payments, bank transfers and cash payments. Please do not send cash payments through the post.
Please be aware that we DO NOT inflate balloons that are intended to be released in to the sky. We understand that balloon releases are often in the memory of a loved one and we do not want to seem unsympathetic to a request for a balloon release. However, we feel that we have a responsibility to the environment and its wildlife. We can offer alternative memorial balloons that are environmentally friendly so please ask us about these but also, if you have an idea that you would like us to consider then please do speak to us about it.
